Guy Issues... What do you think I should do?

So I went out with this guy for about a 1yr. He broke up with me about 3months ago. He moved about 2 hours away 6months into our relationship and we would drive every weekend to see each other or take vacations from work. Since we've broken up he calls me more then i‘ve ever called him. I love him and he knows that because I have told him. He also knows I want to be with him again. I am not constantly pushing him but I have brought it up. We had a really good relationship but in our last month together I listened to the wrong people and as much as I know none of what they said was true I still acted upon these things. I can't answer why but I do regret it. He had also mentioned my tendency to be indecisive. Either way I asked for a chance to prove to him that I am the same person he fell in love with... I told him that I could tell him that over and over again but hes gotta give me the chance to prove it. "Actions speak louder then words" He said he'll have to think about it.Now what?
