Is James Hird a rival to Bruce McAvaney as the country's worst football commentator?

I listened to him today on the Essendon -Vs- St Kilda match. Gee, he is terrible. Apart from sounding not the brightest kid on the block he is very biased towards Essendon re umpiring decisions & other matters.
