Renault Laguna V6 automatic, have had problems since the car was jump started. Is this a coincidence?

I presume the problems you're having are related to the starting or running of the car. It's possible that when the battery jump leads were attached or disconnected the ECU (engine management computer) suffered some sort of power surge, I once killed a car alarm by jump starting it. You'd need to take it to a garage with the necessary diagnostic equipment, probably a Renault one.
