Why is it that successful Black people are often labelled as 'sellouts'?

Anger and jealousy...that's what's up with it. These people are seen as sell-outs because in the eyes of others, they had to "imilate" into white culture (giving up their own) to be successful. However, being successful doesn't mean you gave up who you are. It's imilation into whatever culture (corporate, Hollywood) they have chosen. Nothing white about it.
