American soldier letters home - presentation help?

I'm hoping to do a presentation for American history on either WWI or WWII letters home from American soldiers. I was wondering what I should do with that idea, where should I go with it in my presentation. Should I look at how typical a particular soldier's story was common of the time, the censorship, I'm just not sure. Also which war do you think would be better to look at? Help? Thanks!
